amendment 9 and 10
The state looks after its people by hiring people to build us hospital's and hiring educated doctor's so that if people in our state gets sick they have some where to go to to be cured. Another way the state keeps us healthy is by making health code's in restaurants and hiring people like health inspector's to make sure that the restaurant's are fit to feed people. Also the state hires teacher's to educate us so that we can be smart and get a decent job to make money when we get older. The state keeps us safer by making law's and rules that we have to go by or we will end up in jail. And they keep the speed limit low in places so that their won't be as many accidents. The federal government share some power's with the state's to such as passing law's, paying taxes, and punishment.
-Issue a teaching licence to someone who has applied and met all requirements.
This is the states responsibility.
-Make a treaty with a foreign country.
This is the government's responsibility.
-Set a health code for restaurants.
This is the states responsibility.
-Issue a marriage licence.

-Declare War.

amendment 5-8
Amendment 5 is the reason that police tell us you have the right to remain silent when they are taking them to jail. I think that a criminal shouldn't get all their right until the judge has talked to any spectators and find out their side of the story what happened. I don't think that a witness should be able to accuse the criminal. They shouldn't say that they think that the person is guilty and tell the judge all the reasons that it is that persons fault. They should only be able to tell the judge what they had seen and what they know for sure. I don't think that the witness should be able to give testimony in court. Only the person that got hurt during the crime that was being committed should be able testify and the people that committed the crime should be able to tell their side of the story. I think that the grand jury is a good idea depending on if the person or people have enough evidence to support their story. I think that people should be able to capital punishment but only if the criminal was like a cereal killer or something. But they shouldn't be able to use capital punishment if the crime wasn't serious. I don't think that people should be able to get bailed out of jail until after they did their time or whatever.

4th amendment
This is when a cop would have to search a house of a suspect of a crime. To do this the police need to have proof as to why they would have that person as a suspect before searching that persons house. It may have been a huge crime like believing that suspect shot someone or stold something, grand theft auto, or a drug dealer but the police still need affirmation to inspect the suspects home.

1st amendment
1. Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities. This is protected because of freedom of speach.
2. Write a letter for the editorial page of a newspaper in which you criticize a state legislator. This is protected because of freedom of press.
3. Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law. This is protected because of freedom of petition.
4. Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting.
This is protected because of the freedom of speech.
The first amendment is important because without it we wouldn't be able to be free to express ourselves like speak what we feel (freedom of speach) and we wouldn't be able to read what others have written or have others read what we have written (freedom of press), and without the first amendment we would not be able to study which ever religeoin we chose (freedom of religeon).

2nd amendment
I beleive that people should have the right to bear arm's because people should be able to protect them selves if they were in the situation to and also people should be able to have guns so that they can hunt. But people that own guns shouldn't abuse the rights that they have to own guns by using them to harm others for any reason unless that person put them in a position where they had to protect them selves. We should have the right to bear arms for self defence so that we feel safer.

3rd amendment
I think that people should alow soldiers to live in their homes because soldiers gamble their lives so that we can be free so we should be willing to open our homes to soldiers if they need a place to stay. But I can see why people would not want a soldier living with them if the soldier were a complete stranger to the kids in the house if there was any. But if its okay with the owner of the house and they do knoe the soldier they should let the soldier live with them for as long as they need to.
